Albany, NY– Senator Michael H. Ranzenhofer has been appointed as Ranking Member of the Senate Insurance Committee for the 2019-20 Legislative Session.

“I am eager to begin the important work of this legislative committee. New York’s burdensome regulations increase insurance costs, and this contributes to our state’s affordability crisis that has led to the outmigration of close to one million residents,” said Ranzenhofer. “I am hopeful that this committee will strongly consider legislation that lowers insurance costs for consumers, small businesses and families. I look forward to serving as the voice of affordability, for all New Yorkers, as the Committee’s Ranking Member.”
