Earlier this week at Robbins Family Grain/ North Harbor Dairy in Sackets Harbor, State Senator Patty Ritchie attended a meeting with New York State Commissioner of Agriculture and Markets Richard Ball, as well as local farmers and agriculture industry leaders.
The meeting was organized in an effort to discuss ways the agricultural community can work together to support local farmers and further grow New York State’s leading industry.
“No matter the industry, it takes a team effort to carve a path for future success and growth,” said Senator Ritchie. “I appreciate the efforts of Commission Ball, our region’s local farmers and ag leaders to not only share their ideas for agriculture, but also understanding the importance of coming together, listening to one another and supporting each other.”
