"Each day, businesses flee New York and residents follow right behind them. A state that was once the shining beacon of American capitalism has now become one of the worst states in America to do business in. Because of the disastrous business climate created by Gov. Cuomo and New York Democrats, taxpayer-funded corporate welfare has become essential to attracting any new business to our state, and as we have seen recently, even that is not enough to sway some companies. The ‘Re-Open NY for Business Plan’ seeks to address the root causes of our state’s frail economy and fix the problem these New York regressives created. We won’t need to throw billions of taxpayer-dollars at billionaires and corporations if we cut the excessive bureaucratic red tape and burdensome regulations tying down businesses of all sizes.”
