A Rockland County man with pre-existing conditions sadly died of the coronavirus. It’s extremely important that people continue to follow the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the New York State Department of Health. The State has established a dedicated hotline for residents to call about symptoms, testing, and travel. My office is also a resource to direct residents over the phone to services, and I will begin hosting weekly teleconferences to address constituents questions and concerns. New York is actively working to have more people tested.”
