- 2019-20 Budget
The Governor’s Budget is expansive, and I am pleased to see increased funding for supportive housing, tax cuts for the middle class and our small businesses, and protections for our union workers. However, it is critical we prioritize education funding, front and center in the Senate budget. The Governor says the problem is the foundation aid formula, but we have been saying this for years because funding has not been equitable. I am dedicated to supporting accelerated funding for our schools in the greatest need.”
