Senator Borrello’s Senate Offices Adjust Protocol Due to COVID-19

ALBANY – Senator George Borrello has announced that in light of the state’s growing COVID-19 crisis, his Senate offices will be complying with state mandates by reducing the number of onsite staff and closing the offices to walk-in visitors. However, all staff will be available to provide constituent assistance during regular business hours by email and phone.

“Safeguarding the health of our employees and the public is critical right now which is why we must abide by the state mandate to reduce staff within our workplaces,” said Senator Borrello. “However, our commitment to constituent service will be as strong as ever. Staff working both onsite and remotely will be available during business hours by phone and email to address constituent concerns.”

“Both our state and federal governments are working aggressively to combat COVID-19 and social distancing is a key part of those efforts. I am grateful to all those in our district who are facing this crisis with patience, understanding and concern for those around them. We will get through this together,” Senator Borrello said.
