Ortt Meets with U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security
Robert G. Ortt
February 24, 2020
"Today's meeting and discussion with the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security provided me with further evidence as to the dangers and complications the implementation of New York's ‘Green Light’ law has created for the men and women of our law enforcement agencies. New York's 'Green Light’ law was implemented in direct opposition to President Trump and federal immigration law – undermining our nation's sovereignty and placing our law enforcement officials in greater danger.
"In a state that was home to the worst terror attack ever committed on American soil, one would think our government would be extra vigilant in the security of our borders and entryways into our nation. Unfortunately, Gov. Cuomo and state Democrats have actively sought to hinder the duties and work of our law enforcement officers – risking the safety and lives of Americans."
