Statement from Senator Anna M. Kaplan on New Allegations Against Governor Cuomo
March 10, 2021
CARLE PLACE, NY (MARCH 10, 2021) - State Senator Anna M. Kaplan (D-Great Neck) issued the following statement today following new allegations against the Governor:
Senator Anna M. Kaplan said “As I have stated previously, the women who have come forth with allegations against the Governor deserve to have their voices heard, and a thorough, independent investigation must be undertaken so that the facts of each allegation can be determined.
I believe the results of this investigation should dictate whether or not the Governor continues to serve in a position of honor as the leader of the Empire State, but I want to make very clear, that if these allegations of reprehensible conduct are found to be with merit, the Governor must face consequences, the first of which must be removal from office."
