Senator Daphne Jordan requests the inclusion of a Fire Station Construction Fund in 2022-23 State Budget

Yesterday, Senator Daphne Jordan wrote to Governor Kathy Hochul requesting the inclusion of a Fire Station Construction Fund in 2022-23 State Budget. Senator Jordan sponsors new legislation, Senate Bill S.7558, that would establish such a fund to help direct existing state monies to fire departments that need additional support. Senator Jordan's letter to Governor Hochul is attached.
