Statement from Senator Anna M. Kaplan on Mayor Eric Adams' 'Blueprint to End Gun Violence'

CARLE PLACE, NY (JANUARY 24, 2022) - State Senator Anna M. Kaplan (D-North Hills) issued the following statement today following the release of New York City Mayor Eric Adams' Blueprint to End Gun Violence:
Senator Anna M. Kaplan said "Mayor Adams is right: the root causes of gun violence are numerous and complex, and so must be the solutions as we work towards making our community a safer place for all.
The Blueprint to End Gun Violence lays out a smart, comprehensive approach to address the problem from all sides, including state level reforms, and I look forward to working with the Mayor and my colleagues in Albany to deliver the change that's needed."
