Stec Congratulates Roger Catania on Becoming New Regent in 4th Judicial District
June 2, 2022
Senator Dan Stec (R,C-Queensbury) today congratulated Roger Catania on his recent appointment to the state Board of Regents. Catania succeeds the late Beverly Oudekirk as Regent in the 4th Judicial District. With his decades of experience as an educator, including 25 years in the Lake Placid School District, Catania is well-suited for this position.
“Beverly Oudekirk was a local legend and a fierce advocate for our schools and students,” said Stec. “In selecting a new Regent to follow her distinguished tenure, finding a capable education professional with experience in our communities was essential.
“Roger Catania is that person. He’s an accomplished educator and administrator who has spent decades working directly with our students,” he added. “I’d like to congratulate Roger Catania on his appointment as the new Regent in the 4th District and I wish him nothing but the best.”
