Statement From Senator Daphne Jordan on New York Court of Appeals Decision

The state Court of Appeals decision to strike down Albany’s partisan gerrymandered maps is a victory for our Constitution and all New Yorkers.
The courts have now affirmed what my constituents and I have known for months: One-Party Rule turned their backs on the will of the people who wanted a fair and independent redistricting process.
The will of the people will always prevail.
