New York State Senator Luis Sepúlveda on the Opportunity to Diversify the New York State Court of Appeals

At the present time, the State has a valuable opportunity to nominate a Chief Judge that is not only ready to represent the substantial needs of New Yorkers, but also to make history by nominating a Chief Judge that reflects the State’s unique diversity. The State can do so by appointing the first Latina as Chief Judge to the New York State Court of Appeals.
