ASTORIA, N.Y. – Senate Deputy Leader Michael Gianaris recognized Evangeline Douris, Chair of the board of HANAC and her 50 years of service to the organization during their annual gala fundraiser. 

“Mrs. Douris is an incredible leader in the Greek-American community and we are proud of her lifetime of service and the continued work of HANAC in our neighborhoods,” said Senate Deputy Leader Michael Gianaris. “I am proud to call her a friend and I wish Mrs. Douris and HANAC many continued years of success.”

Deputy Leader Gianaris presented Mrs. Douris with a proclamation during HANAC’s 50^th anniversary gala, which took place on Friday, October 21 in Manhattan.
