"I am unequivocally against Liberty Water’s proposal to raise their rates.

I have constituents already struggling to pay their utility bills across the board, with some even facing service shut-offs. I can’t imagine their water prices going up when many are enduring financial hardship as is. These proposed rate hike will only add to the financial strain on Long Island consumers. Liberty Water must find alternative approaches to ensure affordable access to water."
