Patricia Masi Stock Named Senator Walczyk's Woman of Distinction

Senator Walczyk has chosen Patricia Masi Stock of Little Falls as his 2023 Woman of Distinction.  Ms. Stock is an active member of her community, and has organized numerous events, including the annual Canal Days Parade and Car Show, for more than 35 years. She has served as City of Little Falls Historian for the last seven years, and is now a director with the Little Falls and Herkimer County historical societies.

Always willing to help in any way, Ms. Stock volunteers her time and talent making costumes for school plays and altering cheerleading uniforms. She has assisted community members researching family genealogy, worked with adults to earn their General Education Diploma (GED), and tutored school-age children who struggle with English, history, and even math. Ms. Stock spends her free time with family and friends. She proudly attends her granddaughters' school events and volunteers with her daughter’s animal rescue, Pause 4 All Paws.

“I’m honored to know Patricia Masi Stock - nobody is more deserving of this award. She has dedicated her life to helping others, honoring our rich local history, and to community service,” said Senator Walczyk. “Without Ms. Stock’s contributions, Little Falls, Herkimer County, and the 49th Senate District wouldn’t be the same. We thank her for all she's done and continues to do and I’m proud to give her this much deserved recognition.”

The Women of Distinction program in the New York State Senate is a way for Senators to pay tribute to the amazing women of their district. Each Senator has an opportunity to choose a woman in their district that exemplifies impeccable character, integrity, and citizenship. Senator Mark Walczyk is proud to announce that Patricia Masi Stock of Little Falls received the Woman of Distinction Award for the 49th Senate District.
