Once again, Democrats in Albany are trying to change the laws in order to protect their own political futures.
Recent reports indicate that Albany Democrats are trying to sneak through last-minute changes to the public campaign finance program that would put potential challengers at a disadvantage, and put more money in their own pockets.
The only thing worse than taxpayer-funded political campaigns is a taxpayer funded incumbency protection program. This is blatant hypocrisy from Albany Democrats, who continue to show they put politics above all else.
