State Senator Dan Stec (R,C-Queensbury) today issued the following statement concerning Congresswoman Elise Stefanik's appointment as the next Ambassador to the United Nations:
“I’d like to congratulate my good friend, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, on being chosen as the next Ambassador to the United Nations. This is a richly deserved honor and great news for the North Country. She has been an excellent partner in government and I’ve enjoyed being able to work with her on the national security and economic issues our constituents face. I know that she’ll be a powerful voice for our national security interests, just as she was a strong voice for her constituents in the House of Representatives.”
