“The unusual and suspicious drone sightings in New York and New Jersey are very concerning.

I concur with and support Oneida County Executive Picente’s statement and position that the federal assets in Oneida County give our nation a strategic advantage when it comes to counter UAS research and development.

Federal authorities should consider the county executive’s offer and utilize the local Department of Defense resources that are available to assist with addressing this issue.

I am hopeful that our federal representatives will also support and advocate for such action.”
