New York’s electric truck regulations are a burdensome mandate passed without proper consideration of the impact on businesses and municipalities that lack the adequate infrastructure or resources to pay for them. While the delay announced by DEC is welcome news for municipalities, I strongly urge the Governor and DEC to extend this delay to the private sector as well, while a more practical, affordable solution is formulated.
