Senator Ryan Honors State Champion Boys Volleyball Team

State Senator Christopher J. Ryan (SD-50) is proud to honor Jamesville-DeWitt High School’s Boys Volleyball Team for winning their third state championship in the last four years. The Red Rams earned their title in late November when they beat defending champions, Eastport-South Manor, in five sets.

“Senate District 50 is home to some incredibly talented student-athletes, and the Jamesville-DeWitt Boys Volleyball Team represents the very best of that tradition,” said Senator Ryan. “Winning three state championships in four years is an extraordinary accomplishment that speaks to the players’ dedication, teamwork, and resilience, as well as the leadership of their coaches and the support of the entire school community. These young athletes have made J-D and Central New York proud, and they deserve to be celebrated for reaching the highest level of their sport.”

Senator Ryan recognized the boys volleyball team at the halftime of Jamesville-DeWitt’s home basketball game against Watertown on Monday. The Red Rams defeated Watertown 70-41.
