Stec Honors Constable Fire Department Members for Landmark Anniversaries
September 8, 2025
This past weekend Senator Dan Stec (R,C-Queensbury) honored three members of the Constable Volunteer Fire Department for their lengthy service records with the department. James Gavin recently reached 40 years of service, while Cameron Herdman and Michael Shea both had 50-year anniversaries with the fire department. Stec met with all three and presented each with official Senate resolutions to commemorate their achievements.
Stec appreciated having a chance to meet with these local heroes and thank them for their dedication to serving their community.
“Our firefighters provide an invaluable service to our communities and frequently put their health and safety on the line to help those in need,” said Stec. “I was honored to get to meet James Gavin, Cameron Herdman and Michael Shea and recognize their impressive commitment to the Constable Fire Department and to helping others. I know that myself and so many others are thankful for their decades of service.”
