LOLLYPOP FARM LAUNCHES NEW MOBILE VETERINARY CLINIC TO BETTER SERVE GREATER ROCHESTER

The Mobile Clinic will help Lollypop Farm meet growing demands for accessible, affordable animal care

FAIRPORT, N.Y. – Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester, is proud to announce the expansion of its veterinary services with the launch of a new state-of-the-art Mobile Veterinary Clinic. This important step forward in providing critical medical treatment will connect more pets and people to life-saving care and compassionate resources while also further spreading awareness of Lollypop Farm’s important mission.

Funded in large part by a $250,000 grant secured by New York State Senator Jeremy Cooney, the Mobile Veterinary Clinic will strengthen Lollypop Farm’s ability to reach underserved areas and provide essential services directly where they’re needed most. Equipped to perform vaccinations, surgical procedures, and general medical treatments for dogs and cats, the vehicle will serve as a vital extension of the Klingenstein Veterinary Clinic, ensuring that pets and the people who love them have access to high-quality care, regardless of transportation and location challenges.

In addition to supporting its ongoing community vaccination program, Lollypop Farm plans to deploy the Mobile Veterinary Clinic year-round at a variety of community sites and events. By bringing veterinary care directly into neighborhoods, the organization will be better positioned to meet the growing demand for accessible, affordable pet health services and ensure that more animals receive the preventative and lifesaving care they deserve.

Alice Calabrese, President and CEO of Lollypop Farm said, “We’re thrilled to launch our Mobile Veterinary Clinic and expand our reach to safeguard the health and well-being of animals across our community. This initiative reflects our commitment to breaking down barriers to veterinary care and strengthening the bond between people and pets. By bringing compassionate medical services directly into neighborhoods, we’re ensuring that more families can keep their beloved animals happy, healthy, and at home.”

Senator Jeremy Cooney said, “Lollypop Farm is a model for what compassionate care for animals should look like. I secured funding to make the new Mobile Veterinary Clinic a reality because all members of our community deserve access to high-quality care for their pets, regardless of what zip code they live in. This van will bring equity to care, allow Lollypop to serve more pets across our region, and ensure our families’ beloved animals have the care they deserve.”
