(Binghamton, NY) – Today, Senator Lea Webb (SD-52) announced that she has secured $200,000 in state funding for the Roberson Museum & Science Center. The funding awarded through the New York Senate’s Community Resiliency, Economic Sustainability, and Technology Program (CREST) will aid in an HVAC system installation.
“I’m proud to have secured $200,000 in state funding to support the installation of a new HVAC system at the Roberson Museum,” said Senator Lea Webb. “This investment ensures that one of our region’s most valued cultural and educational institutions can continue to preserve its collections and provide a comfortable, engaging environment for visitors year-round.”
“The funding secured by Senator Webb for Roberson’s climate control system is a critical step toward protecting the historic and artistic treasures in our care,” said Michael Grasso, Executive Director of Roberson Museum. “We’re deeply grateful for this support of our transformative Capital Campaign, and we look forward to ensuring our facility remains a vibrant, sustainable resource for generations to come.”
