Senator Lea Webb Announces Over $25,000 in State Funding to Support Arts and Culture through the New York State Council on the Arts

(Cortland County, NY) - Today, Senator Lea Webb (SD52) announced three grants for Senate District 52 totaling over $25,000 to support nonprofit arts and culture organizations through the New York State Council on the Arts.
“I’m proud to help secure this funding, which will support the creativity, storytelling, and economic activity that make Cortland County such a special place to live,” said Senator Webb. “These grants ensure that artists and cultural institutions of all sizes have the resources they need to continue enriching our region. Investing in our local arts and cultural organizations is essential to building vibrant and thriving communities.”
Senate District 52 received the following funding through the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA):
- $10,000 for the Cortland Repertory Theatre, Inc.
- $10,000 for the Cultural Council of Cortland County
- $10,000 for Center for the Arts of Homer, Inc., Project Title: Liz Arnold: Liz Arnold: A Space This Big, a Memoir
