Senator Stephen T. Chan Honors Bari Pork Store

Chan will celebrate The Original Bari Pork Store for 55 years of outstanding service to the Brooklyn community, as well as to Italian food lovers from across the tristate area. The celebration will take place on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 3:00 PM at 6319 18th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11204.

Community members are invited to join Senator Chan in thanking George and Tony for their decades of dedication, craftsmanship, and community spirit. As part of the event, Senator Chan will present the 2025 New York State Empire Award, one of the state’s highest honors, in recognition of their contributions to the diverse neighborhoods of South Brooklyn.

The award highlights Bari Pork Store’s legacy as a beloved institution, renowned for its homemade sausage, fresh mozzarella, and old-school hospitality, which have become symbols of Italian American heritage. This event underscores Senator Chan’s commitment to celebrating and honoring local institutions.
