NY Lawmakers Send Trump Admin. Joint Letter on Mahmoud Khalil Case

NEW YORK, NY — On Thursday, June 11th, a group of 33 New York City and State lawmakers sent the attached joint letter urging the Trump administration to immediately end its politically-motivated removal proceedings against Mahmoud Khalil.
The letter, addressed to DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin and Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, notes that Mahmoud Khalil is a lawful permanent U.S. resident whom the administration is attempting to punish for his constitutionally-protected activities.
