Senator Lea Webb Seeking Nominations of Local High School Students for the NYS Senate Annual Youth Leadership Awards

(Southern Tier, NY)– Senator Lea Webb is seeking nominations for the New York State Senate’s annual Youth Leadership Recognition Award program. This program honors outstanding students who will become our future leaders.

Teachers and administrators from schools in Senator Webb’s Senate District can nominate current sophomores, juniors, and seniors who excel not only academically, but also through leadership in extracurricular and volunteer activities. Students selected to receive the New York State Senate Youth Leadership Recognition Award will receive a congratulatory personalized certificate from Senator Webb.

“I’m proud to launch the Youth Leadership Recognition Award Program to celebrate the dedication, leadership, and service of students across Senate District 52,” said Senator Lea Webb. “So many young people are excelling not only in the classroom, but also through volunteerism and extracurricular involvement that strengthens their schools and communities. This program is one small way to recognize their hard work, uplift their achievements, and encourage them to continue leading with purpose.”
