Senator Webb Announces Her 3rd Annual "Valentine's Day Cards for Seniors" Initiative in the Southern Tier

(Southern Tier, NY)- State Senator Lea Webb (SD 52) has announced her 3rd Annual  “Valentine's Day Cards for Seniors” initiative, inviting community involvement in creating Valentine’s cards for nursing home and adult care residents in the Southern Tier.

This initiative invites schools, families, and individuals to participate by creating handmade Valentine's Day cards as an expression of care and connection, aimed at reducing the feelings of isolation that many seniors experience. The collected cards will be safely distributed by Senator Webb and her team to various nursing homes and adult care residents in the region by Valentine's Day.

“Valentine’s Day is a reminder that connection and compassion matter at every stage of life.” said Senator Webb. “Through this initiative, we are working to ease isolation and ensure seniors in our community feel seen, appreciated, and loved. Each year, I look forward to seeing people across the Southern Tier come together to lift each other up through small acts that have a big impact.”
