Ban Brokers Fees
Has a Landlord Made You Pay a Broker’s Fee?

Real estate brokers can be hired by tenants (to help them find apartments,) or by landlords (to help them find tenants for a vacant apartment.) In nearly the entire rest of the country, whoever hires a broker pays the broker – as with nearly any other service. Here in New York, landlords often force their new tenants to pay the cost of the broker that the landlord hired to rent out the apartment.
Let’s put a stop to that.
