Dear Friend,
One of my greatest honors as a State Senator is to recognize the men and women who have served with distinction in the United States Armed Forces. Each year, I look forward to recognizing service members from across my district through my Veterans Recognition Program. Since being elected to the New York State Senate in 2017, I have had the opportunity to recognize hundreds of veterans from across the 54th Senate District.
I hope you will consider nominating a veteran for this special recognition. All nominated veterans will be celebrated in a special ceremony on October 30th at Fort Hill Performing Arts Center in Canandaigua.
While anyone can nominate a veteran, the nominee must reside in the 54th Senate District: Ontario, Livingston, and Wayne Counties and the Monroe County towns of Mendon, Rush, Wheatland, Chili, and Riga.
As the daughter of a U.S. Air Force veteran and the mother-in-law of a West Point graduate who served as a U.S. Army Green Beret, I am eternally grateful for the commitment and sacrifice of our veterans and military families. Please join me in honoring our nation’s heroes.
Warmly,
Pam
