Senator Bill Weber represents the 38th Senate District, which includes the towns of Clarkstown, Haverstraw, Orangetown, and Ramapo in Rockland County. A lifelong Rockland County resident, Senator Weber is one of only two New York State Certified Public Accountants serving in the Legislature. He was first elected to the Senate in 2022 and was re-elected in 2024.

Senator Weber has served as Chief Financial Officer for a medium-sized, family-owned business for nearly three decades. He has been actively involved in community service, previously volunteering as a Cub Scout leader and serving on the boards of the Mental Health Association and the Rockland County Youth Bureau.

Senator Weber is recognized as one of the most bipartisan members of the State Legislature. He has successfully sponsored and advanced numerous bills that have been signed into law by Governor Hochul. He serves as the Ranking Member on both the Senate Disabilities Committee and the Senate Budget & Revenue Committee and is also a member of the influential Education Committee.

A strong advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities, as well as for seniors and veterans, Senator Weber regularly convenes advisory councils and hosts community events, including his popular annual Senior Fair and Veterans Appreciation Dinner. As the proud son and brother of active and retired police officers, Senator Weber is a strong advocate for law enforcement.

Senator Weber earned his Bachelor of Arts in Public Accountancy from Pace University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He and his wife, Lisa, are the proud parents of four children, all raised in Rockland County.
