Queens Chronicle: Diplomacy officially dead in ICCC dispute

In 2013, the state Inspector General’s Office used terms such as “disingenuous” when describing the process by which the Indian Cultural and Community Center obtained state land at the Creedmoor Psychiatric Hospital campus.

Right now, public employees who served in the armed forces may purchase up to three years of pension credit only if their military service occurred during specified conflicts. This measure will expand this opportunity to public employee veterans who also served their country in peacetime.
