Addabbo's Office Registering People For Free Legal Advice with NYLAG in July & August

State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. is again partnering with the New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) in both July and August to bring free legal services to his constituents.

First, on Wednesday, July 9, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., representatives from NYLAG will be at Addabbo’s District Office seeing constituents, who live in the district, by appointment. The office is located at 84-16 Jamaica Avenue in Woodhaven. Then again, on Thursday, August 7, NYLAG will be stationed at Addabbo’s Middle Village Office, located at 66-85 73rd Place, also from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. by appointment.

Each session is 45 minutes long. Translators are available.
NYLAG can assist with legal advice on these topics:

•    Housing (tenants only);
•    Public benefits, Disability benefits, Healthcare benefits;
•    Identity theft;
•    Debt management;
•    Immigration;
•    Inmate partner violence;
•    Divorce and custody;
•    Employment;
•    Advanced planning.
