As 2025 winds down, State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. will host his final Mobile Office of the year, meeting one-on-one with constituents from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 20th at Richmond Hill Library, located at 118-14 Hillside Avenue.

Senator Addabbo looks forward to another year of Mobile Office hours and ‘Java with Joe’ events in 2026, since these occasions allow him to maintain a close relationship with his constituents, who cannot come to his offices during regular business hours. Mobile Offices are held at local libraries in the evenings, while ‘Java with Joe’ events are held on weekends at area coffee shops.

In both instances the benefits are two-fold. Senator Addabbo gets to hear questions, concerns and suggestions on improving the community directly from his constituents, while also promoting the visibility and services of local libraries, and in the case of the ‘Java with Joe’ events, stimulating traffic to neighborhood businesses.

“As an elected official, I believe I should be as accessible to my constituents as possible and that they should feel as comfortable speaking with me as they would a friend,” Senator Addabbo said. “They are the eyes and ears of this community, and I depend on them to effectively do my job so that the district continues to grow in strength and resilience.”
