AN ACT to amend chapter 412 of the laws of 2008  amending  the  environ-
  mental  conservation  law  relating  to allowing the use of rifles for
  hunting in the county of Madison, in relation to the effectiveness  of
  such  provisions;  and  to  repeal  section 2 of such chapter relating
  thereto

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.  Section 3 of chapter 412 of the laws of 2008 amending the
environmental conservation law relating to allowing the  use  of  rifles
for hunting in the county of Madison, is amended to read as follows:
  S  3. This act shall take effect immediately; provided that the amend-
ments to item (i) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907  of
the environmental conservation law made by section one of this act shall
[be  subject  to  the  expiration and reversion of such item pursuant to
section 3 of chapter 296 of the laws of 2007, as amended, when upon such
date the provisions of section two of this act shall  take  effect;  and
provided  further that the amendments to paragraph a of subdivision 2 of
section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law  made  by  section
two  of  this  act  shall expire and be deemed repealed on the same date
such paragraph expires and reverts pursuant to section 13 of chapter 600
of the laws of 1993, as amended; and provided, further,  that  this  act
shall  expire  and be deemed repealed one year after its effective date]
NOT AFFECT THE EXPIRATION OF SUCH PARAGRAPH AND SHALL EXPIRE THEREWITH.
  S 2. Section 2 of chapter 412 of the laws of 2008 amending  the  envi-
ronmental  conservation  law  relating to allowing the use of rifles for
hunting in the county of Madison, is REPEALED.
  S 3. This act shall take effect immediately.

AN  ACT  to  amend chapter 412 of the laws of 2008 amending the environ-
  mental conservation law relating to allowing the  use  of  rifles  for
  hunting  deer  in the county of Madison, in relation to the effective-
  ness of such provisions

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.  Section 3 of chapter 412 of the laws of 2008 amending the
environmental conservation law relating to allowing the  use  of  rifles
for  hunting  deer  in  the  county  of  Madison,  is amended to read as
follows:
  S 3. This act shall take effect immediately; provided that the  amend-
ments  to item (i) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of
the environmental conservation law made by section one of this act shall
be subject to the expiration and reversion  of  such  item  pursuant  to
section 3 of chapter 296 of the laws of 2007, as amended, when upon such
date  the  provisions  of section two of this act shall take effect; and
provided further that the amendments to paragraph a of subdivision 2  of
section  11-0907  of  the environmental conservation law made by section
two of this act shall expire and be deemed repealed  on  the  same  date
such paragraph expires and reverts pursuant to section 13 of chapter 600
of  the  laws of 1993, as amended[; and provided, further, that this act
shall expire and be deemed repealed one year after its effective date].
