AN ACT to amend chapter 572 of the laws of  1994,  amending  the  public
  health law relating to specific requests for emergency medical service
  in Suffolk county, in relation to extending the provisions thereof

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 572 of the laws of 1994, amending  the
public  health  law  relating to specific requests for emergency medical
service in Suffolk county, as amended by chapter 99 of the laws of 2008,
is amended to read as follows:
  S 2. This act shall take effect on the first day of  the  first  month
beginning  at  least  30 days after which it shall have become a law and
the provisions of this act shall remain in full force and  effect  until
January  1,  [2011]  2013  on  which  date it shall expire and be deemed
repealed.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.

AN ACT to amend chapter 572 of the laws of  1994,  amending  the  public
  health law relating to specific requests for emergency medical service
  in Suffolk county, in relation to making such provisions permanent

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 572 of the laws of 1994, amending  the
public  health  law  relating to specific requests for emergency medical
service in Suffolk county, as amended by chapter 99 of the laws of 2008,
is amended to read as follows:
