Introduced  by  Sen.  ESPADA -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
  printed to be committed to the  Committee  on  Judiciary  --  reported
  favorably  from  said  committee,  ordered to first and second report,
  ordered to a third reading, amended and ordered  reprinted,  retaining
  its place in the order of third reading

AN  ACT  to  amend  the  real  property  actions and proceedings law, in
  relation to new owners of buildings for which administrators have been
  appointed; and to amend chapter 375 of the laws of 1999  amending  the
  real  property  actions  and proceedings law relating to new owners of
  buildings for which administrators have  been  appointed  pursuant  to
  article 7-A of such law, in relation to the effectiveness thereof

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Paragraph (b) of subdivision 10 of section 778 of the  real
property  actions  and proceedings law, as amended by chapter 157 of the
laws of 2007, is amended to read as follows:
  (b) On or about June thirtieth, two thousand nine AND FOR EVERY  THREE
YEARS  THEREAFTER  FOR AS LONG AS THE PROGRAM CONTINUES TO BE IN EFFECT,
the city shall submit a report to the governor, the temporary  president
of  the  senate, the speaker of the assembly, the minority leader of the
senate and the minority leader  of  the  assembly.  [Such]  EACH  report
FOLLOWING  THE  INITIAL  REPORT  shall  describe  the program activities
carried out during the [two] THREE prior calendar years pursuant to this
subdivision.
  S 2. Section 2 of chapter 375 of the laws of 1999  amending  the  real
property actions and proceedings law relating to new owners of buildings
for  which administrators have been appointed pursuant to article 7-A of
such law, as amended by chapter 157 of the laws of 2007, is  amended  to
read as follows:
