RIVERA -- read once and referred to the Committee on Tourism, Arts and Sports Development AN ACT to amend the state law, in relation to a state slogan THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The state law is amended by adding a new section 88 to read as follows: S 88. STATE SLOGAN. "I LOVE NEW YORK" SHALL BE THE OFFICIAL STATE SLOGAN. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD08438-01-9
