  of  Parks,  Recreation  and  Historic  Preservation)  -- read once and
  referred to the Committee on Tourism, Arts and Sports Development

AN ACT to amend the parks, recreation and historic preservation law,  in
  relation  to  the membership of the Saratoga-Capital district regional
  park, recreation and historic preservation commission

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.  Paragraph  (f)  of  subdivision  2 of section 7.05 of the
parks, recreation and historic preservation law, as amended  by  chapter
679 of the laws of 1981, is amended to read as follows:
  (f)  Saratoga-Capital  district  state  park,  recreation and historic
preservation commission. The commission shall consist of [fourteen] NINE
members, at least [seven] SIX of  whom  shall  reside  in  the  eleventh
region.
  S  2.  This  act shall take effect on the ninetieth day after it shall
have become a law.
