AN ACT to authorize the commissioner of general services to transfer and
  convey certain land to the Kings Park fire district

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.  Subject to the provisions of this act but notwithstanding
any other provision of law to the contrary, the commissioner of  general
services  is  hereby authorized to transfer and convey to the Kings Park
Fire District in consideration of one dollar and upon such other  condi-
tions  as  the commissioner may deem proper, approximately 2.68 acres of
land that were part of the former Kings Park Psychiatric Center.
  S 2. The lands authorized by this act to be transferred  and  conveyed
are as follows:
  ALL  that  certain  piece  or  parcel  of land, situate in the Town of
Smithtown, County of Suffolk, State of New York, being more particularly
bound and described as follows:
  The parcel is approximately 2.68 acres and lies on the western side of
St. Johnland Road, described as follows: starting at the point of begin-
ning approximately 375 feet southeast of the intersection of Kings  Park
Boulevard  and  St. Johnland Road, running approximately 400 feet south-
west along what is now known as East 4th Street; then  running  approxi-
mately 300 feet southeast; then running approximately 450 feet northeast
to  the  boundary  of  St. Johnland Road; then running approximately 300
feet northwest along St. Johnland Road to the point of beginning.
  S 3. The description in section two of this act  of  the  land  to  be
conveyed  is  not  intended to be a legal description but is intended to
identify the parcel to be conveyed. As a condition of the purchase,  the
Kings  Park  Fire  District  shall submit to the commissioner of general
services, for his or her approval, an accurate survey and description of
the lands to be conveyed, which may be used in the conveyance thereof.
