THIELE -- read once and referred to the Committee on Environmental Conservation AN ACT to amend chapter 59 of the laws of 2009 amending the environ- mental conservation law relating to establishing a recreational marine fishing license and setting the fees for such license, in relation to the effectiveness thereof THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 8 of part LL of chapter 59 of the laws of 2009 amending the environmental conservation law relating to establishing a recreation marine fishing license and setting the fees for such license, is amended to read as follows: S 8. This act shall take effect [October 1, 2009] JULY 1, 2010; provided, however, that effective immediately, any regulations necessary for the timely implementation of this act on its effective date are authorized to be promulgated before such date. S 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall be deemed to have been in full force and effect on and after October 1, 2009. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD14944-01-9
