  and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules

AN ACT to amend a chapter of the laws of 2010 enacting  the  Health  and
  Mental  Hygiene  Budget,  as  proposed  in  legislative  bill  numbers
  S.6604-B and A.9704-C, in relation to rape crisis centers for services
  to rape victims and programs to prevent rape

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. That part, entitled Department of Health, of section 1 of a
chapter of the laws of 2010 enacting the Health and Mental Hygiene Budg-
et,  as  proposed  in  legislative bill numbers S.6604-B and A.9704-C is
amended by repealing the items hereinbelow set forth in brackets and  by
adding thereto the items hereinbelow set forth in italics as follows:

            STATE OPERATIONS AND AID TO LOCALITIES   2010-11

CENTER FOR COMMUNITY HEALTH PROGRAM ...... [1,306,237,940] 1,308,108,940

  General Fund / Aid to Localities
  Local Assistance Account - 001

FOR   GRANTS  TO  RAPE  CRISIS  CENTERS  FOR
  SERVICES TO RAPE VICTIMS AND  PROGRAMS  TO
  PREVENT  RAPE.  THE  AMOUNTS  APPROPRIATED
  PURSUANT  TO  SUCH  APPROPRIATION  MAY  BE
  SUBALLOCATED  TO  OTHER  STATE AGENCIES OR
  ACCOUNTS FOR EXPENDITURES INCURRED IN  THE
  OPERATION   OF  PROGRAMS  FUNDED  BY  SUCH
  APPROPRIATION SUBJECT TO THE  APPROVAL  OF
  THE DIRECTOR OF THE BUDGET ................... 1,871,000

  S  2.  This  act  shall take effect immediately and shall be deemed to
have been in full force and effect on and after April 1, 2010.
