AN ACT to amend the vehicle and traffic law, in relation to the location
  for loading and unloading of bus passengers by an intercity bus

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.  Paragraphs  d and e of subdivision 4 of section 1642-a of
the vehicle and traffic law, as added by a chapter of the laws of  2012,
amending  the vehicle and traffic law relating to establishing an inter-
city bus permit system in cities having a population of one  million  or
more, as proposed in legislative bills numbers A. 4578-A and S.  4313-B,
are relettered paragraphs e and f and a new paragraph d is added to read
as follows:
  D.  CONSULT  WITH THE PORT AUTHORITY OF NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY WHEN A
PROPOSED LOCATION OR RELOCATION FOR THE LOADING AND UNLOADING OF PASSEN-
GERS BY AN INTERCITY BUS WOULD OVERLAP WITH AN EXISTING  PORT  AUTHORITY
OF NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY BUS FACILITY.
  S  2.  This  act  shall  take  effect on the same date and in the same
manner as a chapter of the laws of 2012, amending the vehicle and  traf-
fic  law  relating  to  establishing  an  intercity bus permit system in
cities having a population of one million or more, as proposed in legis-
lative bills numbers A. 4578-A and S. 4313-B, takes effect.
