AN ACT to amend the public health law, in relation to including MDPV and
  mephedrone within the list of hallucinogenic controlled substances

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Subdivision (d) of schedule I of section 3306 of the public
health law is amended by adding two new paragraphs 33 and 34  to read as
follows:
  (33) 3, 4-METHYLENEDIOXYPYROVALERONE.
  (34) MEPHEDRONE.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Subdivision (b) of Schedule I of section 3306 of the public
health law is amended by adding six new paragraphs 56, 57,  58,  59,  60
and 61 to read as follows:
  (56) 3,4-METHYLENEDIOXYMETHCATHINONE (METHYLONE).
  (57) 3,4-METHYLENEDIOXYPYROVALERONE (MDPV).
  (58) 4-METHYLMETHCATHINONE (MEPHEDRONE).
  (59) 4-METHOXYMETHCATHINONE.
  (60) 4-FLUOROMETHCATHINONE.
  (61) 3-FLUOROMETHCATHINONE.
  S  2.  This  act shall take effect on the thirtieth day after it shall
have become a law.
