AN  ACT in relation to the designation of technology development centers
  and to provide funding for such centers

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.  Notwithstanding any other provisions of section 3102-d of
the public authorities law, entities designated as  regional  technology
development  centers as provided in NYCRR section 5901.6 as of the first
of April 2011 shall remain so designated for  not  less  than  one  year
through the thirty-first of March 2012.
  Notwithstanding  any  other provisions of section 3102-d of the public
authorities law, contracts in effect as of the first of April 2011 shall
be deemed so designated through  the  thirty-first  of  March  2012  and
regional  high technology development organizations, designated pursuant
to section 5901.6 of NYCRR shall continue to receive funding  as  appro-
priated in chapter 53 of the laws of 2011.
  Such  funding shall not be less than the amount received in the previ-
ous state fiscal year of 2010-2011.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.

AN ACT in relation to the designation of technology development  centers
  and to provide funding for such centers

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
