AN ACT to authorize the commissioner of general services to transfer and
  convey certain unappropriated state land to the Bay Shore  union  free
  school district

  THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision of article 3  of  the  public
lands law to the contrary, the commissioner of general services is here-
by  authorized to transfer and convey to the Bay Shore union free school
district, for consideration of one dollar to be paid to  the  state  and
upon  such  terms  and  conditions  as such commissioner may impose, the
state land located at 70 Brentwood Road, Bay Shore,  in  the  county  of
Suffolk, declared to be abandoned state land by the division of military
and naval affairs. Such transfer and conveyance shall be completed with-
in  one  year of the approval by the commissioner of general services of
the declaration of abandonment submitted by the division of military and
naval affairs relating to such state property.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.

AN ACT to authorize the commissioner of general services to transfer and
  convey  certain  unappropriated state land to the Bay Shore union free
  school district

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.  Subject to the provisions of this act but notwithstanding
any other provision of law to the contrary, the commissioner of  general
services  is  hereby  authorized to transfer and convey to the Bay Shore
union free school district, in consideration of one dollar and upon such
other conditions as the commissioner may deem  proper,  the  state  land
located  at  70  Brentwood  Road,  Bay  Shore, in the county of Suffolk,
declared to be abandoned state land by  the  division  of  military  and
naval affairs.
  S 2. The lands authorized by section one of this act to be transferred
and conveyed are as follows:
  ALL  That  certain piece or parcel of land situate, lying and being at
Bay Shore, Town of Islip, Suffolk County, New  York,  more  particularly
bounded and described as follows:
  BEGINNING at a point which is the southwest corner of Redington Street
and  Brentwood Road and running thence along the westerly side of Brent-
wood Road South 14° 46' East 435.02 feet to the  northerly  boundary  of
land  of  Long  Island  Railroad, Montauk Division; thence running along
said boundary line South 75° 33' West 447.83 feet  to  the  Middle  Neck
Line;  thence  North  13°  45' West 423.96 feet to the southerly side of
Redington Street; thence along the southerly side  of  Redington  Street
North  74° 06' East 440.43 feet to the point or place of beginning. Said
premises containing 4.38 acres more or less.
