AN ACT to legalize, validate, ratify and confirm the  abolition  of  the
  board  of  fire commissioners by the town of Deposit, in the county of
  Delaware

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1. Notwithstanding any provision of the town law or insurance
law, all proceedings and actions taken by the town  of  Deposit  in  the
county  of  Delaware,  in relation to the abolition of the board of fire
commissioners and transfer of their functions to the town board and town
supervisor, including executing contracts for  fire  protection,  redis-
tributing foreign fire insurance premium tax funds and the establishment
of  any  account of funds from real property taxes of the fire district,
are hereby legalized, validated, ratified and confirmed.
  S 2. Notwithstanding the defects described in section one of this act,
the town board of the town of Deposit is hereby authorized  to  initiate
proceedings  pursuant  to  article  17-A of the general municipal law to
dissolve the board of fire commissioners as if the town board  were  the
governing body of the board of fire commissioners.
  S 3. This act shall take effect immediately.

  tion thereof

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1. Notwithstanding any provision of the town law or insurance
law, all proceedings and actions taken by the town  of  Deposit  in  the
county  of Delaware, in relation to the abolition of the offices of fire
commissioners and transfer of their functions to the town board and town
supervisor, including executing contracts for  fire  protection,  redis-
tributing foreign fire insurance premium tax funds and the establishment
of  any  account of funds from real property taxes of the fire district,
are hereby legalized, validated, ratified and confirmed.
  S 2. Notwithstanding the defects described in section one of this act,
the town board of the town of Deposit is hereby authorized  to  initiate

deemed repealed on July 1, 2013.
