AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation  to  authorizing  massage
  therapists  licensed  in other jurisdictions to perform massage demon-
  strations as part of a continuing education program

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1.  Section  7805 of the education law is amended by adding a
new subdivision 6 to read as follows:
  6. A MASSAGE THERAPIST LICENSED  IN  ANOTHER  STATE  OR  COUNTRY  FROM
CONDUCTING  A  TEACHING  DEMONSTRATION  IN  CONNECTION WITH A PROGRAM OF
CONTINUING EDUCATION THAT IS CONDUCTED BY APPROVED SPONSORS OF  CONTINU-
ING EDUCATION BY THE DEPARTMENT.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

ARE WITHIN THE PRACTICE OF MASSAGE THERAPY IN CONNECTION WITH A  PROGRAM
OF  CONTINUING  EDUCATION  THAT  IS  CONDUCTED  BY  APPROVED SPONSORS OF
CONTINUING EDUCATION BY THE DEPARTMENT.
  S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
