BILL NUMBER:S6951 TITLE OF BILL: An act to amend the public health law, in relation to establishing certain substances as banned substances PURPOSE: Add two substances to schedule I of section 3306 of the Public Health Law. SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: Section 1 adds 4 substances to schedule I of section 3306 of the public health law. The first substance added is N-(2-methoxybenzyl)-2, 5-dimethoxy-4-iodoplaenethylamine, its optical isomers, salts, and salts of isomers. This is also known as 251-NBOME, 2C-1-NBOME, and Cimbi5. The second substance is 2,5-dimethoxy-4-iodophenethylamine, its optical isomers, salts and salts of isomers. The third is 2-(4-chloro-2,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-N-(2-methoxybenzypethananaine, its optical, positional, and geometric isomers, salts and salts of isomers. This is also known as 25 CNBOMe, 2C-C-NBOMe, 25C, and Cimbi-82.

GRIFFO -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Health AN ACT to amend the public health law, in relation to establishing certain substances as banned substances THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subdivision (d) of schedule I of section 3306 of the public health law is amended by adding four new paragraphs 33, 34, 35 and 36 to read as follows: (33) N-(2-METHOXYBENZYL)-2, 5-DIMETHOXY-4-IODOPHENETHYLAMINE, ALSO KNOWN AS 251-NBOME, 2C-1-NBOME; CIMBI-5, ITS OPTICAL ISOMERS, SALTS AND SALTS OF ISOMERS. (34) 2,5-DIMETHOXY-4-IODOPHENETHYLAMINE (2C-1), ITS OPTICAL ISOMERS, SALTS AND SALTS OF ISOMERS. (35) 2-(4-CHLORO-2,5-DIMETHOXYPHENYL)-N-(2-METHOXYBENZYL)ETHANAMINE, ALSO KNOWN AS, 25 CNBOME; 2C-C-NBOME; 25C; CIMBI-82, ITS OPTICAL, POSI- TIONAL, AND GEOMETRIC ISOMERS, SALTS AND SALTS OF ISOMERS. (36) 2-(4-BROMO-2,5-DIMETHOXYPHENYL)-N-(2-METHOXYBENZYL)ETHANAMINE, ALSO KNOWN AS, 25 BNBOME; 2C-B-NBOME; CIMBI-36, ITS OPTICAL, POSITIONAL, AND GEOMETRIC ISOMERS, SALTS AND SALTS OF ISOMERS. S 2.
